We have 4 mares confirmed in foal. The Rose of Astral (AI UK) has been confirmed in foal to Barastoc and Melbourne Royal Supreme Champion Penmain Posh (AUS) (Fernleigh Fine Print × Kirreway Rendezvous). MIrinda Royal Magic (imp AUS) (Keston Royal Occasion × Chippenham Daisy Mae) and Tapu Kim Ki-Soo (imp AUS) have both been confirmed in foal to Ascot Royal Signature (imp AUS). We are thrilled about a positive pregnancy for Tapu Kim Ki-Soo as at 20 years old this is her 3rd foal in more than a decade. Her first foal Tapu Kid McCoy (exp USA imp AUS) was a multiple champion in the USA and Australia her second foal sadly deceased. Finally, Royal Park Show Time has been confirmed in foal to Mirinda Hand Painted (imp AUS).

We now have a 5th mare confirmed in foal. As Ascot Royal Signature (imp AUS) was up longer than we anticipated at Equibreed, Xcellence at Sefton (imp AUS) (Rathowen XL x Great Expectations of Sefton) was sent to MIrinda Hand Painted (imp AUS). This is her first foal and we look forward to seeing what she will produce for us.

We will not be showing any ponies for the first half of the show season - except Penmain All A Glitter who has arrived at his new home up North. I am off to the UK for 3-4 months and plan to see as many studs and attend as many shows as I can. Everything will go on as normal here at the stud in my absence and there will be youngsters for sale during the summer. Ascot Royal Signature will still be available at stud and any enquiries in regards to him, youngsters for sale etc will still be attended to as normal.

It is with a heavy heart that I report of the sad passing of Ascot Royal Signature.
'George' as he was known was more than special to me and will be irreplaceable.
He was a champion in every sense of the word, kind, trustworthy with the temperament
of a gelding, always keen for a cuddle from me.
He will never be forgotten

Finally some good news at the stud. Our very successful filly Penmain Lilly of the Valley (imp AUS) (Fernleigh Fine Print x Sufton Wild Rose imp UK) will be having a season in the broodmare paddock before pursuing a ridden career. She has returned a positive pregnancy test to Kilvington Scoundrel (UK) so I am looking forward to my 3/4 euro baby next season.
All the mares pregnancies are progressing well with Royal Park Show-Time looking so huge the vet is sure she will foal early.

Second filly foal of the season for us. Out of our beautiful Fairley Rembrandt (UK) mare 'The Rose' still living in Australia. The second foal by multi champion Penmain Posh, she is huge and will definitely make 14.2hh but by the length of her legs she may mature even taller.

Also 3 outside mares we accepted last season to Ascot Royal Signature imp AUS foaled successfully. Congratulations to Lisa Howie on a superb chestnut colt from her purebred Welsh mare, and to Kathryn Kirk of Willow-Spring Stud on her beautiful filly from Oaklyn Roselle imp AUS to be named Willow-Spring Rosetta and a stunning colt from Southwind Promenade to be named Willow-Spring Royal Ascot.
Finally, we are thrilled to announce that the beautiful Torrensway Nym (imp AUS) has been successfully AI to the Section B Welsh Stallion Lemonshill Top Note (UK). Nym is dam of multi champion 'KS Touch of Magic' and filly 'KS Touch of Romance'.
